Nancy Silverton wanted a kiosk that didn’t feel like a kiosk. To achieve this we added a false wall with doors to sit along the short end of the design. This gives some privacy to one end of the bar, some extra seating and a ledge for people to gather near the false doors, like you would outside a slice shop. (Launching in the spring of 2020.)
Inspired by the culinary traditions of Southern California and Italy, Pizzette’s food is directly connected to the land. We looked to Los Angeles’ produce boxes and vintage bread labels for type icon references.
