In 2014, our team was tasked with transforming a corner grocery store into a local café. In response we designed one of Brooklyn’s first bright & airy cafes inspired by the relaxed, sun-filled spaces of Australia.

We maximized seating in an oddly shaped space, and designed a vital community gathering spot that continues to thrive.

What Amy does is visceral, intangible, and it resonates with consumers.

Amy is a visionary. A year after opening your place you’ll notice imitators. I was initially skeptical about the money paid up front for design – as an experienced operator I thought of it as sunk cost marketing. I’m a convert.

If the atmosphere matters do yourself a favor and hire The Morris Project. If people feel a connection to your brand they will be loyal customers.
